Project SEARCH was developed in 1996 by Nurse J. Erin Riehle, then the Director of the Emergency Department at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. As the flagship program, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital provides technical assistance for replication and overall leadership to Project SEARCH worldwide. (http://www.projectsearch.us/) “We love Project SEARCH – and the wins continue to come for us. There is inherent value for patients and for families. There is value and pride for our employees who want to be part of great futures for children. It is a win for the wonderful interns. Plus it is good for the soul.” ~ Peggy Niemer, Vice President – Service Excellence, Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin |
