Senior Therapist

Work Location:
Milwaukee Area

Work Hours:
40 Hours/week Flexible Scheduling Required

Using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis within a family centered approach, the Senior Therapist will develop and carry out programs and activities designed to improve the lives of children with autism and their families. The Senior Therapist is a member of the Autism Services team which includes ABA services, P.L.A.Y. Project services, diagnostic evaluations, and Pre and Post Intensive services.

Qualifications Include:

1. A minimum of two years proven successful experience in implementing, designing and overseeing behavior analysis services for individuals with autism.
2. Certified psychotherapy provider, legally authorized to perform psychotherapy, with either a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences who has at least 400 hours of training or supervised experience in the use of behaviorally based therapy models consistent with best practice and research on effectiveness for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders who meet all criteria to receive this service; in addition to, or as part of their 3000 hours of training/supervision;

OR

3. A bachelor’s degree in a human services discipline and at least 2,000 hours of training or supervised experience in the use of behaviorally based therapy models consistent with best practice and research on effectiveness for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders who meet all criteria to receive this service.

4. Certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) preferred.

Line Therapist

Work Location:
Milwaukee Area

Work Hours:
Minimum of 6 hours/week. Flexible hours available

Are you looking for a meaningful part time job or a full time position with a company where you can have opportunities for advancement and growth?  Easter Seals is looking for experienced Line Therapist to join our growing Autism Services Team. 

As a Line Therapist you will be a part of a team that supports children with Autism. You will work with assigned children in a variety of ways, which may include intensive 1:1 teaching grounded in the principles of applied behavior analysis, leading small group work, shadowing, and preparation for lessons under the direction of Senior Therapist. 

Qualifications Include:

1. Must be at least 18 years or older and a high school graduate. 
2. 30 hours of directed supervised experience in the use of behaviorally based therapy models for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders or at least 160 hours working in any setting with children with developmental disabilities.
3. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.  Must have proof of insurance meeting the requirements of the Driver Agreement form.
4. Must pass a criminal background check.
